If a refill is done on existing Gel-X and worn for an additional 2–3 weeks, lifting is very likely to occur underneath. When lifting happens, moisture can get trapped inside, which may lead to bacteria growth and cause discoloration.
For the health and safety of your natural nails, we strongly recommend removing and applying a new full set instead of refilling Gel-X.
